Hi, Teething babies often develop fever and refuse to eat due to the pain and discomfort. If a similar patient comes to my clinic, I would recommend feeding the baby with frozen, mashed fruits (like banana, etc.) and vegetables, yoghurt, etc. so that they don t have to chew the food and also for soothing relief. And no, crocin is not recommended to be given on an empty stomach as it may cause gastritis and may irritate the stomach.
