Is consuming Aspirin and Xarelto on the same day safe?

I have been on Xarelto for several months because of temporary A-Fib following a hernia operation and subsequent blood clot behind my left calf. That problem has been resolved and I am soon to replace Xarelto with an 81-mg low dose aspirin. However, I am to start Niaspan-1000 mg for cholesterol control now and my PCP wants me to take the Niaspan half an hour after taking the aspirin, at least temporarily. Is there any danger to me if I take both the aspirin and Xarelto during the same day, for a time? I will see the cardiologist in less than 2 weeks.

hi. you can use xarelto with low dose of aspirin if your doctor indicated with precautions. clotting time is increased with this drug. so you should take precautions if you injuried. thank you. regards.
