Is Congenital Heart Disease Curable?
My cousin in the Philippines has congenital heart disease. Right now she is admitted to a hospital. The doctor said that she is too weak and that her case is hopeless. The hole in heart is too big along with that her lungs are too weak. Right now the doctors are not giving us any hope anymore. They keep telling us to brace ourselves for the worse. In your personal opinion as a doctor, is there any hope for her to get stronger, until we raise enough money for her heart surgery? Maybe in two months?

It's very difficult to tell about the prognosis of your cousin without knowing full details about her cardiac condition. Hole in the heart is a very broad term. Either it can be VSD or ASD.
