Is Conception Possible Despite Being On Metformin For PCOS?

hello Dr. am a woman of 28 years of age and am very desperate of getting pregnant.i went to the hospital and i was found with PCOS and i was given metfomin tablets to be taken for the period of 3 months! my question is will i be able to coinceve again?although i have a 4 year old son. and will i be cured with this pills? although their driving me crazy.

Pcos patient are more prone for glucose intolerance, metformin is given as a treatment for glucose intolerance not as a fertility drug. You can discuss with your doctor regarding hormonal treatment for conceiving.
