Is Climbing Stairs Recommended During Pregnancy While Having Low Lying Placenta?

I am into a teaching job which requires me to climb stairs upto 3rd floor. I wish to know whether it is safe to climb stairs in seventh and eigth month of pregnancy if diagnosed with low lying placenta (as per 20 weeks scan)? Its the case of partial placenta previa.

Hello,
You should get a repeat scan in order to see the placenta as the placenta does usually move up in 90 % of patients . If the placenta is low lying even at 28 weeks then you do have placenta praevia in which case you should rest and climbing so many stairs is to be avoided .
Take care
