Is Cilest Be Taken In Place Of Microgynon?
Hello. I am currently taking Microgynon 30, but it is making me feel sick and like I am on my period all time. I still have cilest tablets in my drawer (as I used to take it). If I have my 7 day break after finishing Microgynon and then take cilest, will I be protected immediately?

Yes, cilest may be taken in place of microgynon-30. Microgynon-30 and cilest are the commonly used combined pills, and contain the same hormones (estrogen and progestin) which means you can switch between them without any fuss. You will be protected immediately if you start taking the cilest pills after the 7 day break of finishing microgynon-30.
