Is Cheston Syrup 3.5 Ml Safe Dosage For Infants?
Hello, my baby is 3 months old and had high fever. The doctor diagnosed virsl infection and prescribed Cheston cold syrup 3.5 ml (5 days), DOXCEF 50 syrup 3.5 ml (5 days) and MEFTAL-P syrup 2.5 ml (3days). I am worried about the dosage. Is this a heavy doze for such a small baby ?

The dosage of Meftal P suspension is 2.5 ml for babies less than 2 years of age
Doxcef is 5mg/kg/ dose twice a day
Cheston is 2.5 ml to 3.5 ml depending on body weight.
The dosage given by your physician seem okay.
