Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

The possibility is that the sinusitis is causing you a lot of cough. Now when you have the cough associated, the respiratory muscles get tired and therefore the pain in the chest may happen and you feel sore.

However if the cough is something that you do not have, I would suggest that you get an x ray of the chest , if not a ct scan of the chest. This is to know that there is no serious chest infection.

Antibiotics may be needed if there is a serious infection.

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.
