Is Chest Pain A Serious Problem?

Hello, I am a 26 year old male, 5'10'' 145 lbs, no major medical history. I have had an aching pain in my chest wall for several weeks. It only aches intermitently, and when it does I can cause it to not ache by changing my posture. What might be causing this? Is this serious?

HI
Well come to HCM
In young age chest pain is not that much matter of concern but of course after 40 years of age this need to be taken seriously, in your case if you do not have any associate symptom like cough, loss of weight and appetite then this is nothing to worry, the pain can be managed with Tab Acetaminophen and try to maintain the good posture, hope this helps.
