Hi, I have gone through your question. Recurrent second trimester abortion can be most probably due to cervical incompetence in which the cervix is not able to hold the pregnancy and dilates prematurely leading to second trimester abortion.
The management on such cases is to put a cervical cerclage at 12-14 weeks of pregnancy, it is surgical procedures in which the stitch is applied to the cervix, to prevent the premature opening of cervix.
I would suggest you to follow your doctor's advice.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
