Is Castor Oil Advisable To Use For Eye Inflammation?

I am looking for a supplement to help with eye inflammation, I have an eye condition called Superior Limbic Keratosis. Caster Bean/Oil came up as a possible supplement but I can t find any reviews of anyone who has tried Castor Oil for this condition. Do you know if this would possibly help?

Hi,

Castor oil can effectively treat mild to severe dry eyes. It is also anti-inflammatory and is used in the preparation of certain anti-inflammatory eye drops.

Castor oil is generally regarded as safe. However, some people may have an allergic reaction to castor oil so please consult further with an ophthalmologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
