Is Bone Graft Material From Hip Advisable For Finger Fusion?

wondering about the efficacy difference, if any, between getting bone graft material from hip or upper arm. I have a finger fusion coming up in May of 2016. Seems that hip drilling often causes prolonged pain. I am 69 years old, too, which generally doesn t help prognosis.

I really appreciate your concern, graft taken of bone may not cause any systemic manifestation and it get healed very soon, of course it may cause pain but not severe one hope this information helps.
