Is Blood Transfusion Advisable For Low Hemoglobin Level?

Just got blood work results...RCB 2.74, Hemoglobin 8.1, Hematocrit 24.7, Ferritin 4. Scheduled for a 5 hour flight tomorrow night. Is it safe for me to travel? Last time my levels were this low they did iron infusions. Would ask my own Dr., but she has left the office for the day.
