Is Blood Sugar Reading Of 190 Normal?
Not sure what my dad had to eat today, but about an hour and a half ago his sugar was 175, he took a shot and now it s at 190. I know he didn t eat much today, but he did consume alcohol today. We just took it while he is sleeping and it is 190. Should I be worried or do something or just let him sleep?

It is clear that approximately 2-3 hours after meal blood glucose level increases ( as it might happen in your father case ) . Above all 190 mg is not so high , so don't worry . As you mentioned that your father is in sleep , so don't disturb him , let his sleep .
