Is Blood In Urine During A Urine Test A Cause For Concern?
My urine has a blood indication during my 6 monthly medical checks by a doctor of government clinic. He said that he has no idea but keep monitoring till the check-up around November 2017. I have no pain during urinating or feel no pain for other path of my body. Can you please help me to get the answer?
Hello, Welcome to Ask a doctor services, I have read your query. Since you are having the complain of blood in the urine since 2017, you should visit ER & get examined. Blood in the urine is indicative of some developing pathology in your system. It can be due to UTI, you can get CBC, Urinalysis (C/S, R/E) done & get medications accordingly. Some other infections & diseases that can cause it are bladder or kidney stone, pyelonephritis, pathology in the kidney/prostrate or cancer. Get all the required investigations done, get diagnosed & treated at the earliest. Take nutritious food, do regular exercises & keep yourself well hydrated. Take care. Regards, Dr Nupur K
