Is Blood In Stool Normal While Trying For Pregnancy?

Hi! I am trying to conceive and had unprotected see from June 5th through June 8th. My last menstrual was on May 22nd. Today I had light brown gritty discharge this morning and then dark red gritty blood when I made a bowel movement. My period is due to come on any day now. Could I be pregnant or is this a sign my cycle is changing and coming on?

Rectal bleeding is usually from diverticulitis, hemorrhoid, colitis such as IBS or IBD, fissures, and cancer. The most common cause is usually hemorrhoids. Hemorroids are also common in pregnancy, chronic constipation, and straining. It doesn't sound like you're pregnant yet, but it sounds like you might have caused some trauma which resulted in vaginal and rectal bleeding. If it continues, I would see a doctor to get some screening labs and a physical exam.
