Is Blood And Mucus In Stool Symptom Of Crohns Disease?
I am under a bit of stress at the moment, and have had looser bowel movement, but not diarrhea for a couple of weeks, Last week i noticed some blood and mucus in stools. The doctor looked at my anus and told me i have proctitis and i am booked in for a colonoscopy this week to see if i have crohns or UC.
I have blood and mucus in stools a year ago (when i was also feeling stressed) which lasted for a week and cleared up by itself and have been 100% fine until now. If I had Crohns or UC would it just dissapear unmedicated? Wouldnt i still have symptoms? Do you think this is just proctitis, from stress?
I am worrying myself sick about having Crohns as I know this is a bad condition. I am 24 female and have no family history of either.

Of course, it must be blood stain stool but most of the time if this is the constipation, then it may cause this.
If this is the prostatitis, so it is the inflammatory condition or rectum, if this is so, then it may cause the pain of that area in absence of pain condition of Prostatitis is less likely.
Again it may not be the blood stained stool but it could be the diet that might be causing such appearance, but to confirm it stool can be sent for laboratory examination.
If this is the stressful condition, then it may cause the different symptoms even some time cause the hallucination, so try to come out of the stress.
