Is Biopsy Required For Itching And Burning Scalp?
Itchy, burning scalp; long history of hives but only on my scalp after haircoloring until about a year ago; scalp feels "crawly"; hot, sweaty scalp makes situation worse; should I have a scalp biopsy to see what's going on? My Derm says its hives; all blood work normal; histimine levels in blood over 300.

in my opinion you are suffering from eczematic dermatitis induced by hair colouring agents
In my opinion you should take a course of anti allergic drug like tab fexofenadine for 5 to 7 days
if symptoms persist even after that please consult your dermatologist
