Is Bilateral Ovarian Follicles, PCO And Complex Fluid Within Endometrial Canal Serious?
Wondering if someone could help me out with the results below? I had a transvaginal ultrasound today. Do I have something serious? Uterus has dimensions of 6.2 x 7.6 x 4.9 cm. endometrial thickness is 8 mm. Some complex fluid is seen within the endometrial canal. Left ovary measured 3.24 x 2.35 x 1.94 cm with numerous follicles largest of which is 1.6 cm. right ovary measures 2.1 x 1.56 x 2.24 cm with numerous follicles up to 1.4 cm in size. There is a trace of free fluid in the pelvis. Result impression: 1. Numerous bilateral ovarian follicles. Polycystic ovarian disease should be considered. Largest follicle is 1.6 cm on the left and 1.4 cm on the right. 2. Complex fluid within the endometrial canal.
