Is Augmentin Appropriate To Treat Vomiting And Nausea Caused By Fibromyalgia And Gastritis?

My daughter is 16 years old and has been previously diagnosed with fibromyalgia, mono and gastritis. Her throat was swelling about 9 weeks ago and she had nausea and vomiting. She was treated with steroids and they changed her birth control pill thinking it might be causing nausea. The symptoms went away until about three weeks ago. Her throat began to feel as if she was being choked. She began throwing up last Wednesday thru Friday and is still nauseated. Her lymphnodes are swollen. She was put on Augmentin yesterday. She was sent home from school today because she feels movement inside her throat. She has had no fever with any of this. Any ideas?
