Is Atrophy Of Uterus And Ovaries A Serious Health Problem?
I am 53 year old female having completed menopause 3 years back.Recently I had kidney stone removed.Last week I felt pain in the groin area, right side and also in the back both left and right side.I guessed it would be stone stuck in the ureterand so consulted with a urologist who advised me to get an abdominal pelvis ultrasound scan. The scan report said that there may be a renal calculus or atrophic uterus and ovaries which causes pain. Please explain what if the uterus and ovaries are atrophic. Is it a serious helath condition?-Hema
