Hello,
Arthrotec has two ingredients diclofenac and misoprostol. The misoprostol is to protect the stomach from ulcers. The diclofenac is an anti-iflammatory medication like advil and can be hard on the kidneys. It really depends upon the amount of pain that you are in. If you are in enough pain to require an anti-inflammatory every day, this is not a bad choice since it will not cause an ulcer. If you are not in too much pain then I would avoid it.
