Is An Increase In The Eosinophil Count In The Blood A Concern?

Hi Sir, yesterday I took master health check and they advised to check cardiac specialist since I will get heart attack after 2 to 3rd years. Asked the reason they told in my blood having high eosinophil count however don t have sugar and BP. please advice

Hi,
Eosinophils are a type of white blood cells that are related to allergic or parasitic diseases.
When you find then increases in your blood, you will need more specific labs to determine the cause depending on the clinical presentation.
It can be an allergic reaction (you need to do prick and patch test
It can be a parasitic infection (stool exams for eggs or antibodies, blood exam for antibodies related to the suspected parasite)
There are some parasites that cause myocarditis or valvular diseases such as Rickaetsia, Trypanosomas etc.
