Is An HCG Level Of 3000 During Pregnancy Normal?

HI. My LMP was 06/01/2017. On July 5 I took pregnancy test and was positive so I went to my ob doctor she couldn t see GS in the womb but there is a 3 cm cyst in the ovary. The blood test shows hcg 174. On July 12 I went again to ob and again can t see the gs on ultrasound. The cyst in the ovary was 3.6. The blood test shows hcg 3000. What could be going on? Is it just an early pregnancy?

I can understand your concern.
Your HCG level is very high for early pregnancy.
And your ultrasound don't show gestational sac (GS). So we should rule out
1. Hormone secreting tumour
2. Ectopic pregnancy.
So consult good gynecologist and discuss all these.
