Is An Expired Clarithromycin Safe For Consumption?
Is it safe to take an expired 3 yrs ago clarithromycin 500 mg.? My whole family has been put on antibotics for bronchitis/pneumonia. Im the only one without ins. so unable to go to the dr. Im 57 and usually get pneumonia in Oct or Dec to the point im hospitalized. Im not on any other medicines. I have had this for a month. Thank you for your advice. Merry Christmas!

I dont recommend to take this medications since 3 ears out of expiration date is pretty long period and it may not be efficient in treating pneumonia because of that. So I suggest to see a doctor and have a new pills prescribed. YOu should not take this risk and have old antibiotics.
