Is An Enlarged Heart Dangerous?
I was told years ago that I have a damaged heart valve that was not life threatening. However, during my last visit to my cardiologist in Palm Springs, he told me I now have an enlarged heart because my "heart has been working overtime, which caused the heart to become enlarged." My question is: Is an enlarged heart dangerous?

I understand your concern, the enlargement of heart is common condition if have cardiac elements particularly Hypertension and valvular heart disease, and nothing to worry about this but regular follow up is necessary and compliance of drug are also important, otherwise it wont harm any more hope this will clear your doubt have nice day.
