Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello
Lately I have had an elevated heart rate of 90 to 96 bpm where normally I sit around 72 to 76.
I have a slight sinus cold but nothing major. My blood pressure as of today was 130/85. I have felt tired and can falla sleep at the drop of a hat.
Is this an immediate concern or should I book a regular chack up visit with my doctor.
Although your heart rate is slightly high but its still within normal limits and so does your BP. As you have mentioned you are suffering from clod that could be the reason of your slightly raised heart rate. Your tired is probably due to your cold nothing significant. I would like to advise you to do steam inhalations thrice daily with some nasal decongestants. And for your malaise you can use PARACETAMOL twice daily for 3 days. That will be all.
Good Luck
