Is An ERIG Vaccination Advisable After Being Bitten By A Cat?

Good day! I was bitten by a stray cat (that kinda lives in our garage) recently and I m on my 3rd dose of anti-rabies vaccines already. The bite was classified as category 2 (small puncture wound on left foot) I wasn t prescribed ERIG but I m thinking of getting vaccinated just in case. Is this alright? or will it do more harm than good? Thank you very much!

Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
It is better to take ERIG for a bite by stray cat. Since it is a stray cat, you can not observe it. So it always better to get protected.
Thanks
