Is An ER Visit Advisable For An Infant With High Fever?
My 22 month old daughter was tested for and diagnosed with influenza A last Tuesday. She took a full course of Tamiflu. She was fever free for 2 days, but was sent home from daycare today with 101 degree fever. She has had a wet, loose chest cough that has persisted. It is worst at night, sometimes leading to vomiting. Should I take her back in to urgent care?
If you observed increased respiratory rate or increased pulse rate or decreased saturation or not eating or drinking or not able to feel the pulse or developed any seizures et cetera.
You can take her to your doctor immediately, if mild symptoms may not need to consult.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
