Is Allergic Reaction To Semen Causing Welts On My Body?
Hello. i recently began taking sprintec birth control rounghly 2 weeks ago ive been on it for 15 days i started on a sunday start. As of yesterday I woke up with welts all over my body, huge one one that covers my side and my hip, my arms, my eye, hands, knees, underarms, thighs, calves behind my ears. it itches but they hurt also.. unfortunatly after being the pill for 15 days my boyfriend and i were having intercourse and i let him cum inside me this is the first time ive ever let any one ejaculate inside me, then only a few houres later im covered in welts!!. Could I be allergic to semen, or is it my birth control. please help

It is, as you say, definitely an allergic reaction.
It is unlikely that you are allergic to semen because is not common.
If you did not use any different foods or drinks yesterday that may have caused the reaction then it is possible that it is a delayed allergic reaction to the contraceptive.
You can speak to your doctor about a possible change.
