Is Alcohol Intake Advisable Before The Scheduled IUI?

Hi I am not a heavy drinker but I do have an event to attend today and I would like to have a glass of wine to avoid unnecessary attention. My iui is scheduled tomorrow morning. Is it safe for me to have a glass or should I strongly refrain from having any drink tonight. Best N

I understand your concern.
Intake of alcohol, smoking and taking medications or drugs other than what has been prescribed needs to be avoided totally when you have planned for procedures such as IUI. This is because such compounds might affect the fertilization and implantation process after the procedure.
Kindly abstain from all such substances during such planned procedures to get the maximum benefit from it.
