Is Alcohol Consumption Safe For A Person Diagnosed With MEN 2A Disorder?

I have MEN2A. I am 51 female. I had an alcoholic drink tonight and I felt horrible. Pain radiated from my stomach and I felt weak and dizzy. I took two gas x and relaxed as much as possible and after a few hours the intense pain was gone, but now I feel extremely weak.

Alcohol consumption is not safe for a person diagnosed with MEN 2A disorder. There are no data on the influence of alcohol on MEN2A.

Symptoms MEN2A include tiredness, depression, stomach ulcers, abdominal pain and non-specific aches and pains, and if left untreated can result in osteoporosis and kidney stones.

If you already have a stomach ulcer, alcohol can make it more difficult for it to heal, can cause you more pain, and can cause other side effects such as vomiting. Alcohol in quantities irritates the stomach lining, making it red, raw, and inflamed.
Avoid alcohol.
