Is Acute Bronchitis A Contagious Disease?
I've had acute bronchitis for at least a week. I'm on my last dose of prednisone today, with no signs of a bacterial infection. I have a rattling cough and even with albuterol and flovent every day can barely get any sleep since my bronchial tubes make so much noise. I'm wondering if I am contagious to others or if there's anything else I can do?

I really appreciate your concern look the causative organism is the matter in case of Bronchitis if this is due to virus of some contagious type then this could be contagious but in latent period only, if the causative organism is bacteria of noncontagious type then no need to worry about this, on short it all depends upon then causative organism, take care and have a nice day.
