I am 50 yrs old, and recently I have had an achy feeling in my arm which runs down to my hand. I did have some back pain from sleeping the wrong way, could this be related.

Usually the pain of cervical spondylosis radiates to arm and hand.
If you have pain in neck, you must avoid keeping pillow. Also you can visit a physiotherapist for treatment of pain. Take combiflam on sos basis.
