Is Accidentally Brushing A Child's Teeth With Hair Removal Cream A Concern?

My 3 year old has accidental brushed his teeth with some hair removal cream. What should I do? There is no bleeding or blebs on the tongue or mouth area and he appears fine.
I've washed his mouth out and keep making him drink so as to dilute any he might have swallowed. What should I do?

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain as your son was brushing his teeth with hair removing cream then there are very less chances that he might have ingested a considerable amount of it and the most common problem that could have happened due to ingestion can be chemical burning of the oral mucosa and in case if there is no inflammation or sores in mouth, therefore you need not to worry as there seem nothing serious..

You need not to worry about it and in case if there is eruption of sores in mouth or mouth pain you should make him gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Make him suck ice pops..
Give him soft bland diet..

Hope this helps..

Thanks and regards..
