Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

Rabies is a disease which is transmitted by the dog, which is 100% fatal but it is 100% preventable by proper and adequate treatment.

As you have been scratched by stray dog on your knee. As it is a scratch and there was no bleeding it is categorized into Cat II bite according to WHO categories and it is necessary to take active immunization with Antirabies vaccine.

You have to take antirabies vaccine on days 0, 3, 7, 14 and 28. In addition to this you should take Inj TT and antibiotic like tab Augmentin for 5 days will suffices the treatment.
Thank you.
