Is A Painful Knot On The Tailbone A Cyst Or A Pinched Nerve?
Hi, my name is Amanda and I am 28 years old. I have a really painful knot on and around my tailbone region right above the crack of my butt. Is is likely a cyst or a pinched nerve? It is sensitive to the touch and is inflammed. There isn t any redness around the area or any bumps. Thank you for your time

This may be an in inflamed pilonidal cyst. I suggest you see your doctor for a diagnosis. You may need antibiotics. In the meantime, keep the area clean by regular bathing.
