Is A Mild Concussion And Neck Pain, Post A Head Injury, A Concern?

Hi I fell forward into a door frame a few days ago and hit the top of my head. Doctor said I had a mild concussion and I needed rest. No scans were ordered. However I also had a lot of neck pain when I hit my head, and now a few days later in addition to the occasional headaches, I m feeling off and on hand tingling in both hands. Should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Dear,
I evaluated your concern in depth .
@ According to your narration the tingling in both hands is not normal, it is
related to cervical nerve compression at the cervical spine level as is your
neck pain .
@ You must concern this matter ,
Get evaluated by expert Consultant surgeon who will evaluate necessary
Radiological data ( X-ray +/- MRI cervical region or else ) according to
your physical signs .
Hope this will definitely help you to some extent .
Feel free to ask any further health related query in future .
Thanks for using Health care magic .
Regards .
I find this answer helpful
