Is A Large Head Circumference Measurement In A Baby Of Concern?

Hi, I had my ultrasound at 20 weeks and 4 days and am really concerned with a very large head circumference measurement. Everything else seems ok just concerned. Hc: 195 Ac: 152 Fl: 34 I already have a baby who was born at 40+4 weighing 7lb 4oz so really concerned this baby is a monster. It is a boy by the way. They also didn t tell me the babies estimated weight, something else I would like to know!! Thanks

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Macrosmoia is commonly seen in diabetic mothers and makes it difficult to go about an NVD (normal vaginal delivery). So the only concern would be to plan a cesarean section once term is near. The weight can only be calculated using abdominal diameter and ultrasound examination.
