Is A Hydrocephalus Affected Person Advised To Do Viparita Karani?

Hi Dr. ,m,.el,

I am a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher from Auckland, New Zealand. I have a student with Hydrocephalus and would like to know if inversions such as supported Shoulder Stand or Viparita Karani would be advised to such a student.

I felt pleased to know that you are propogating yoga in NewZealand so that humanity can learn to live healthy in natural way .
As for as your student is concerned ,he should not be suggested to do Viprit Karni due having problem in head . otherwise it is very good Asan as a whole

I would suggest to advise your student to do Anulom Vilom for 20 mins and Treebandh 10 - 15 times .

Also Homeopathic Calcarea Phos 30 /4 pills 4 times a day for a week / once a day for a week / on every alternate day for 15 days can help .

Regular check up is must . All the best .
