Hi Vanessa I understand your concern for your husbands wellbeing. There is no associated harms in AF patients to have a hot tub bath. Although the thing that need to be take care is that they should not scald their skin with steam or hot water. Redness happens due to hot water as it dilates the blood vessels in the skin thereby increasing the blood flow causing redness.
