Is A Home Pregnancy Test Result Conclusive?

Hi , I have had an pregnyl 2500ml injection on the 30th of March as part of embryo transfer. My blood test on the 6th of April shows positive pregnancy with HCG level of 300. Should I have another blood test to check if I am pregnant or will a home pregnancy kit show me the correct result?

Hi, I think you should check the blood value of bhcg again after 48 hours to confirm a viable pregnancy. Home pregnancy test is positive at lower values also. So, it will not be able to tell you if value has increased properly or not. Get a transvaginal scan done at bhcg value more than 1500. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
