Is A Dry Scaly Patch On My Breast Related To Breast Cancer?

I have a dry scaly patch on my breast. It has been there for approx 2 months. I finally went to a Dermatologist and they did a biopsy, waiting for the results. My question is, could this be a sign of breast cancer because I just had a mamagram and they said there is a prolblem with the same breast. I now have to get an ultrasound. I am 54.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.If the mammogram said that there is a problem in the breast. It means there is some thing to suspect within the breast ( can be benign / malignant )
2.The ultrasound will give the nature of the lesion and its extensions and where it is arising from.
3.Dry scaly patch are generally seen in case of infection / inflammation of the breast.
4.However you have taken the appointment, so get investigated and needful treatment done.

Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
