Is A Delayed Period Due To A Pregnancy Or Any Other Reason?

I am 43 years old and my period is late by about 5 days. Before I could have the two children that I have I had to have surgery. The doctor found that I have endometriosis and scar tissue on my tubes. I had to take fertility to get pregnant with my children. My daughter is now 11 and my son is 9. Is there any other reason why I would miss a period other than a pregnancy?

I understand your concern
Delayed period other than pregnancy in your case could be a endometriosis, hormonal imbalance and peri menopausal symptoms.
I would suggest to undergo USG scan, ovarian follicle study and reproductive hormone analysis by consulting the gynecologist.
Oral contraceptive pill help to regularize the period.
Progesterone pill also cause induction in the period.
Danazole help in the treatment of endometriosis.,
Avoid stress, take healthy diet and do regular exercise.
