Is A Combination Of Prozac And Wellbutrin Right Medication For Depression?

I have been on Brintellix for about 10 months. I don t think it is helping my depression much and want to find one that will work better. Also I am losing my hair and have read others have hair lose with this medication. It s not just a small amount it s a lot. A friend of mine is on a combination of Prozac and Wellbutrin and it s working great for her. I have taken both those drugs alone but the side effects weren t good. Together they are supposed to counteract the side effects I ve heard. What would be your recommendations?

Prozac(fluoxetine) and Wellbutrin(bupropion) combination is not desirable at all. They have significant interaction with each other and side effects increases substantially. I would never put my patients on this combination for depression.
Now regarding the hair fall, I would suggest a complete investigation into the reason as Brintellix(vortioxetine) is highly unlikely to have caused it.
