Is A Clogged Feeling In Throat After Swallowing A Bone A Cause For Concern?
I swallowed a bone...I could feel the sharpness when I swallowed it. This was two days ago went to the doctor yesterday and she seemed to think I swallowed it however my throat and chest hurts feels like it s still lodged in throat should I be concerned at all

There are couple of possibilities what might have happened.
1. You have swallowed the bone but it injured/scratched your esophagus (swallowing tube that passes from your mouth to your stomach through the chest) and because of this injury it still hurts.
2. The bone is still lodged in there but lower down where your doctor may not have been able to see it.
If your pain does not improve or gets worse you have to see a specialist, a gastroenterologist, who will look for the bone (or an injury), with an endoscope (a instrument with a camera that is passed though your mouth to examine the swallowing tube while you are asleep).
