Is A CRT Advisable To Treat Mitral Valve Leak And Enlarged Heart?

I have an enlarged heart, mitral valve has been pulled apart and leaking, I also have LBB. Echo showing EF of 45-50, heart weakening, and valve leaking. Cardiologist sent me to have a catH. and TEE. CatH showed only 30 % blockage and EF of 35 to 45. TEE showed mitral valve was in great shape. Valve surgeon and cardiologist at hospital recommended CRT to get the ventricle pumping together to get the heart to remodel and shrink so the mitral valve would go back together and prevent surgery. Cardiologist here wants to do melds for 3 or 4 months to see if they work. Should I wait to see if Medes work.
