My husband passed away last week, and since then I have been experiencing high blood pressure. I have only had this problem once several years ago when my father passed. At the time they told me it was stress related. After a couple of months, I never had to take blood pressure medicine anymore. I am planning to see the doctor later this week, but I am wondering at what level should it be considered urgent? I am currently at 152/101; I know that s really high, but just wondering if it s ok to wait until morning or if that is too dangerous.
