Is Zifi 200 Advisable During Pregnancy?
Hello Doctor, My wife is 3 months pregnant LMP (20th Feb 2014). Her doctor had advised urine test in which PUS Cells count has been reported as 18-20 WBC/HPF (Normal range is 0-5 WBC/HPF). Now her doctor is suggesting Tab Zifi 200 mg twice a day fr 3 days. Also syr cital 2 tsf in water one glass twice a day fr 8 days. My question is: Is Tab Zifi 200 safe during pregnancy? Thanks a lot for suggestion.

but dont worry, zifi or cefixime is totally safe in pregnancy and there is no proven risk factors associated with taking cefixime in pregnancy.
you can definitely let her take it for a three day course.
