Is Ursodiol Safe To Be Taken Along With Folic Acid?

Thank you my doctor want me to start taking ferrous gluconate 27 mg 2-3 tabs daily plus folic acid 1 mg daily. I have primary biliary cerrosis as well as celiac disease. My medications for these are ursodiol 500 mg 1 and 1/2 daily, valacyclovir 500 mgs 1 per day and nadolol 20 mgs 1 per day. Are they compatible with folic acid and ferrous gluconate?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Folic acid and ferrous are generally supplementation and it can be taken if advised in appropriate doses! It never interacts with your other medication as such! i woukd suggest you to reconfirm it with ur PCP if you are comcermed much regarding the same!
